We have compiled some reviews of the best features of digital cameras currently available on the market with images of the model reviewed. We have ranked the Cameras with the Highest rated shown first.
Canon EOS T1i 500D/Rebel
This is one of the best-selling DSLR cameras in recent months. It has 15.1 megapixels powerful camera and 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens with stabilizer. Another plus feature of this camera is that it captures video in Full HD. It also has a 3-inch LCD screen, among many other advantages.
Nikon D90 DX
Many users find its 12.3-megapixel more than enough for normal use. The camera comes with a lense of 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 ED AF-S VR with stabilizer, 3 inch LCD (high resolution), Live View (to see live what you are capturing through the LCD screen itself), face detection, video recording, among other features.
Canon EOS 50D
Its 15.1-megapixel resolution and DIGIC 4 processor make it worthy of third place in our ranking of the best DSLR cameras. It also has a remarkable ISO up to 12,800. Generally offers very advanced features except the video (no video recording capabilities). It comes with 28-135mm lens, 18-200mm, or the camera only without aditional lenses.
Canon EOS 7D
This is a recent release from Canon, a camera with 18 megapixels. This camera is full of features with dual DIGIC 4 processor, 19-point autofocus, video recording HD 1080p etc. This is a camera suited to people already familiar to the world of digital SLR photography. Its price would be considerably higher than other Cmaeras and a little over-kill for people who are just getting started and only require a basic camera.
Despite this Nikon having a lower resolution than many others (only 12 Megapixel), it is considered as a direct competitor of the Canon EOS 7D. It has a speed of 7 frames per second, and a far advanced auto focus recognising upto 51 focus points. It has HD video recording (but only 720p) with the possibility of video editing in-camera.
