The growing excitement in the library profession and the information society where, information is becoming increasingly computer-based and electronic, alongside the hard copy on the libraries, remind me the need to keep up-to date with developments in library and information profession. As we enter the twenty-first century, we will be working with more than one information system: at least one print and one electronic, and our job is to make these two systems work together. I want to be an information specialist, who can perform as a computer technologist also, for providing right information to the right user at right time.
