Top 5 United States Hospitals Rankings
It is difficult to rank hospitals anywhere in the world, let alone in the United States where some of the best hospitals in the world are located. It is also hard to rank hospitals in general as the results will become very subjective and as a result; a lot of gray areas may come out. To rank hospitals, several questions have to be asked:
- What is the death rate in this particular hospital?
- How does patient safety factor in the rankings?
- How the operating room procedures are handled and what is the success rate of operations completed in the operating room of this hospital?
To be able to rank hospitals objectively, you have to categorize them by specialty when it comes to diseases, say for example, best hospital in having your diabetes treated or best hospital to have kidney disorders taken care of and so on and so forth. You also have to factor in overall organization performance, patient care, operational efficiency, and financial stability.
