HP has recently unveiled its new product EliteBook Revolve, a notebook with Windows 8 in the form of a convertible tablet. This gadget is mainly executive audience orientated, and stands to offer various possible configurations, but in any configuration the price of this product is always going to be touching the high end of the range.
Configurations to choose from :
The HP EliteBook Revolve boasts a 11.6-inch screen capable of a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and Gorilla Glass type 2. On this screen you can choose the configuration that best suits your needs, as HP gives you the option to choose CPU’s between Core i3, i5 or i7 Intel processors, which can be matched with RAM of either 4, 8, or 12 GB.
The terminal comes with Windows 8 OS as standard and also incorporates an SSD up to 256GB of capacity. As for connections, the HP Revolve has 3 USB 3.0 ports, DisplayPort, Ethernet, WiFi and optional 4G modem. The backlit keyboard will have a ClickPad for the mouse functions. The equipment total weight is only 1.36 kg and its thickness is just 22mm.
HP is expected to put the product on sale for March this year 2013, but so far no price has been disclosed. The brand will also give us the opportunity to purchase the Windows 7 Pro version EliteBook Revolve (for users that are still not entirely sold on Windows 8) and they are discussing the possibility that the convertible notebook comes with an optional stylus.
